Served in the United States Coast Guard from 1959 to 1963
Served on lighthouse and light ship duty . Also on the Icebreaker,The Westwind. Returned to military service in the US Marine Corp, 1969 to 1973.Assigned to 3rd MP battalion as a dog handler, Served in Vietnam for 1 year.

I have been a member of the American Legion for 15 years and currently hold the post as Chaplain.
